Messages from Liz Lisa Takeshita Shop Staff on Store Closing

Looking back at my trips to Japan, I always enjoyed visiting flagship store and seeing how beautiful it was. Building up a new wardrobe in the outlet store on the second floor was always special for me as the shop staff were always very kind. As the store has recently closed down, I thought I would share some of the messages the shop staff posted on Instagram.

Please note: I am not a native Japanese speaker and my translations may contain errors. Feel free to leave corrections in the comments below.

Maachun:

"Liz Lisa is the number one thing in my life. I guess my life would have been different if I didn't meet Honoka in Shizuoka. All the memories came back to me on this day and I was crying, glad to be with everyone. I was really happy that all Shizuoka staff members came all the way from Shizuoka after I announced my graduation. I realized my happiness was protected by the kindness of the seniors. Shizuoka is my starting point. Thank you very much."

"The juniors gave Hitomi and me a surprise at the Harajuku Takeshita shop closing night.

A very cute pink bouquet and colored paper with My Melody on it (It was my dream to receive one lol!!)

I was holding in tears during the long day. When I came home, I cried while looking at the sign and let out 'it was a waste on me' as happy words were difficult to say.

I did not have confidence in myself when I was told about the responsibilities of the assistant manager. I was so worried I would not be able to get through this troubling time...

Even after becoming assistant manager, being crushed by the weight of responsibility made it difficult for me many times.

However, I accepted the responsibilities of assistant manager. I told myself I will not run away. I also continued until the Harajuku store closed. Because of this Harajuku store and all its members cheering me on, I was able to do my best until now.

As the helpless assistant manager, thank you everyone for supporting me and following me.

And to Hitomi, who recommended me to be an assistant manager and let me have a wonderful experience. Thank you very much.

It was really good to be the assistant manager of the Harajuku store."

"The last day of the Takeshita store I worked at for a year. At the end, only one person wasn't crying. It was nice to finish the day with my favorite members. From 2/3 and on, I will be working at the Harajuku Alta store."
