Review: Viewm 1 Day Charm Brown Circle Lenses

Though I've been using circle lenses for years as a cosplayer, I never ventured into the world of natural lenses that you could wear on a regular basis. I'm used to circle lenses that make me transform into a character, but I decided to try something new.

Searching through the LOOOK Contact Lens Shop on Rakuten Global as recommended by some, I saw the Viewm 1 Day lenses as one of their top sellers and decided to pick a color that could suit my hazel eyes. I went with "Charm Brown" as it looked a natural color that would blend well with my eyes. I liked that they were UV blocking and had a high water content of 42.5%. My eyes dry out easily, so it's important to me to have lenses with higher water content as they're generally more comfortable on my eyes. I also decided to pick a 1 Day type of lenses because I was tired of having to constantly maintain and clean lens cases from yearly lenses.

I choose EMS as my shipping option and the total came out to 3,782 yen ($34) which is cheaper than I usually pay for one pair of circle lenses for cosplay with expedited shipping. They shipped on March 30th and arrived the next week.

The lenses themselves were clean, had no flaws, and were neatly packaged by seller. I loved the design of dark brown fading to light brown. Since they are 14.2mm, they give a nice enlarging effect without looking over the top like some cosplay lenses I have owned. They were extremely comfortable to wear and looked really interesting on my eyes.

The photo above was taken in natural light. As you can see, my eyes have a mix of browns and greens. The lenses gave a beautiful light fade that showcased the natural green underneath. I am extremely happy with how these lenses look on my eyes. Those with lighter eyes like myself often struggle finding lenses that will fully cover or give a color effect as promised, so I was delighted to see the color come through in such a unique way. I will certainly be happy to purchase these lenses again in the future through LOOOK as both the lenses and the service were excellent.

Color: 4/5 - These worked perfectly for my eye color, but I feel the brown may get lost on darker eyes

Comfort: 5/5 - Extremely comfortable and definitely could be worn without dryness

Enlargement: 4/5 - Though I wasn't looking for dolly eyes, these definitely give a nice effect that is also natural looking
